But, it looks like this isn't about making money, but destroying data, which is nice isn't it! So even though there's a ransom demand, there's actually no way to get your data back if this latest malware infects your files.
So, as ever, keep your OS updated, ensure your endpoint protection is working and updated and make sure you keep that data backed up!
