What does that mean for you? Well it's a reminder to make sure you use...complex, random and unique passwords for all your accounts! And of course never use any personal information such as date of birth, names or anything easy to guess when you create a password.
I know it can be a pain, but a good password manager (like Lastpass) would really help, it integrates into your browser and syncs to your phone so you always have your passwords with you!
The most popular passwords are still 123456 or password - insane!
You should also use multi factor authentication (also called 2 factor authentication) for your important or confidential accounts, so even if someone guesses your password, they still can't login!
To find help on adding multi factor authentication to your accounts, copy and paste the following address in to your browser to visit this site :

So stop reusing your passwords, enable multi factor authentication where you can and be more confident that when a breach occurs you might have prevented a big problem!
